Mindfulness Tools and Techniques for Children

At Mulberry Tree, Music and Yoga are deeply integrated into the learning process that goes on in our Weekday Programme. We understand that mindfulness and mind body connection are crucial in a child's physical and psychological development. 

Above you can see some students doing partner yoga, helping each other with their poses. Partner yoga requires two people to work together and help each other to go deeper. In our first partner pose we worked on deepening our down dogs and handstand prep. In the second we tested our communication skills by pushing in unison to balance and stand up together. It was not without challenges as any good exercise, and after a few tries we did it!
